I took my first programming class in summer school in 1984 and I have been involved in tech ever since then. My professional career in software development began in 1997. Since that time I have worked for a variety of industries (insurance, banking, legal, manufacturing, etc.) in and around Chicago and Milwaukee for companies of all sizes.

My work has primarily revolved around Microsoft technologies in the web and on the desktop. In recent years I have also done some mobile work as well. My work on the web has always been full-stack. For those of you unfamiliar with the web, that means I have worked on the front-end creating how the website itself looks and functions, as well as creating and modifying processes on the server and the database.
